If Florida, criminal cases are moved along by the Court, not the parties, through a series of monthly pretrial conferences or disposition hearings. As a result, in a Tampa Bay criminal case, clients can miss a lot of work, wasting time attending court hearings. Most of these hearings are only hearings to set another hearing, and a client's appearance should not be needed. Yet, miss the wrong hearing, and you'll end up back in jail. Attorney Hanks explains how he helps his clients avoid the needless criminal or DUI hearing, so they can stay at work, all without a warrant for their arrest.
